2. THE FUNCTIONS OF MEDIUM
This project offered an opportunity to
review the woodcut medium in a contemporary, international context.
At that time, under the direction of Dr. Annie Bardon, the Reutlingen Holzschnitt program
had reached wide recognition as a uniquely high quality center for the contemporary woodprint.
3. THE TOUR
In the following years, the "Holzschnitte" exhibitions program
included Scandinavia, Germany, Poland and Baltic states.
Elements and components shifted and recombined. The Grain prints evolved into exploration
of virtuality. Grid, Elements and Components laid foundation for work on typography and
structured imaging systems including the internet. The Animation parts later motivated
film and video works.
